Manufacturing of Food Industry Production Line Machinery

Throughout its operation, SAMPO has consistently prioritized the market and customer needs of its clientele, maintaining its leading domestic market share while serving all regions of Hungary. Within the Hungarian poultry and meat-processing sector (slaughterhouses, primary and secondary processing plants), it is a constant expectation that all installed technology complies with EU and international food industry and hygiene regulations, while also supporting economical operation.
Recognizing this, it soon became clear that in addition to expanding our manufacturing capabilities, we also needed to significantly strengthen our engineering and design department in order to win new markets and investments. In short, our business philosophy — and company motto — is to design and implement the complete internal processing technology of food production plants based entirely on customer requirements and expectations, ensuring satisfaction for clients while balancing the interests of owners and employees alike.
CONVEYOR BELT SYSTEMS
We supply a wide range of conveyor belts and belt systems in various sizes and configurations, tailored to individual requirements.
HANDHELD SCALDING TORCH
The device is designed for singeing residual pig hair. It consists of a connector box and handheld burners. The burner valves allow adjustment so that the flame can remain continuously lit, even at reduced output.
DIAPHRAGM PUMP
Our diaphragm pump model: M 300.
Diaphragm pumps belong to the family of displacement pumps. A critical point in conventional valve-type pumps is the valve itself. The unique feature of our diaphragm pump is its specially designed, rubber-coated check valve. This makes the pump suitable for gently transporting materials that contain a high proportion of solid or pulpy components — without crushing or damaging them.
VETERINARY INSPECTION STATION & MEAT INSPECTION CART
Our product supports compliance with enhanced veterinary regulations. Suspicious animals must be stored separately and hygienically at an inspection point placed next to the evisceration line until final verification is performed in the designated inspection room.
BLOOD PUMP
Our blood pump belongs to the group of vortex pumps, where energy conversion occurs inside a rotating impeller. During operation, the fluid (blood) enters through the suction pipe, is accelerated by the impeller, and expelled radially into the volute housing.
Its construction features a single-stage, single-suction, horizontal centrifugal design with a spiral casing. In the volute, pressure increases at the expense of kinetic energy.

ELECTRICAL STUNNER
Its purpose is to stun poultry arriving continuously on the overhead conveyor, ensuring compliance with animal welfare regulations and all technological parameters. This is essential for producing high-quality end products, supporting proper bleeding and efficient defeathering. Our electrical stunning unit belongs to the water-bath stunner category and operates with adjustable frequency between 50–400 Hz. The components are built from stainless steel and durable plastics.

KILLING MACHINE
The killing machine manufactured and supplied by SAMPO Kft. is capable of processing up to 11,500 broiler chickens per hour.
Features include:
Stainless steel base plate with adjustable head guides
Stainless steel height-adjustment frame
Two stainless steel circular blade cutting units
Electrical input: 2 × 0.75 kW (400 V, 50 Hz)
BLEEDING TUNNEL
According to poultry processing regulations, blood must be collected in a trough and transferred to a waste container via the shortest route. The environment must be designed so that no contamination occurs outside the designated cutting and bleeding area.
AIR-INJECTION SCALDING TANK
The key advantage over traditional pump-based scalding tanks is that scalding can be performed at lower temperatures — while improving defeathering efficiency.
COMBINED SCALDING TANK
Used in poultry plants to loosen feather follicles by immersing pre-slaughtered, bled birds in a heated, vigorously agitated water bath. Especially recommended for waterfowl processing plants, where intense water circulation is necessary for effective feather loosening.
BEAM-TYPE DEFEATHERING MACHINE
This machine removes feathers from properly scalded poultry. Rotating defeathering discs with rubber fingers are mounted on beams attached to the main frame. The GKG series forms a machine family with identical structural groups; the only differences between models are the defeathering length and the arrangement/number of beams.
CABINET-TYPE DEFEATHERING MACHINE
Designed for defeathering properly scalded poultry (primarily chickens) arriving on the overhead conveyor. Four rows of rotating rubber-finger discs perform the removal.
DIPPING & PARAFFIN REGENERATION TANK
Used for waterfowl processing. Birds are dipped into hot paraffin so that any remaining feather roots adhere to the solidified wax. The wax is later removed with the feather remnants and returned via chute to the regeneration chamber, where it is melted, filtered, and reused.
CHILLING/SETTING TANK
Performs the cooling and setting of paraffin on waterfowl carcasses (2–8 °C agitated water bath), making it easier to detach embedded feather follicles.
LEG CUTTING MACHINE
A compact unit mounted on the defeathering overhead conveyor. It bends the poultry leg at the hock joint and cuts it using a rotating circular blade. The leg remains in the hook while the carcass slides to the evisceration section.
LEG-SCALDING EQUIPMENT
Designed to scald poultry legs so they can be properly cleaned afterward. Birds are conveyed through a heated water bath; temperature is controlled digitally via a thermostat. Stainless steel construction throughout.
HEAD AND TRACHEA REMOVAL UNIT
A compact module mounted on the overhead conveyor. It continuously removes the head, trachea, and esophagus from poultry, preparing them for manual or automated evisceration. Conveyor speed and height adjustments can be made during operation to accommodate different bird sizes.
CARCASS WASHING UNIT
Available in two versions:
Small Carcass Washer (KTT) — for chickens and ducklings
Large Carcass Washer (NTT) — for larger poultry
Each unit is designed to wash carcasses between processing stages using spray nozzles connected to the water supply.
